Development of a digital solution that allows patients to change risk behaviours before surgery.
The LIVE INCITE project offers a digital solution with the aim of helping the patient to quit smoking daily and stop alcohol intake to face the planned knee and hip surgeries. This solution helps patients to improve their health habits during, before and after surgery interventions.
The innovation proposed by the project allows individualised interventions and more personalised analysis; follows evidence-based methods for behaviour change and takes advantage of the potential and digital formats to maximise the scope of interventions.
The project consortium is formed by the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, the Karolinska University Hospital of Stockholm, the Bispebjerg/Frederiksberg Hospital of Copehaguen and the Karolinska Institutet and the Swedish Rheumatism Association.
