Advance in the state of the art on the optical and electrical elements applicable to light signals in road infrastructure to achieve a greater energy efficiency and lower cost, both in production and operation processes.

The PRINTLED project (Printed Electronics for Signal Applications) has developed industrial processes for the design, manufacturing and control of signaling systems to use functional printing technology as a lighting system and, in particular, to develop a technology to integrate of all the components of the signaling system in the same industrial process.
