A modular set of innovative training units addressed to future workers on technical and scientific sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brain@Work<\/strong> project has the aim to deepen knowledge about existing Information Literacy (IL) for the STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines<\/strong>, and to upgrade the training offer of each of the project partners creating a modular set of training units for future workers on these sectors.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, Information Literacy (IL)<\/strong> is important because future professions and the labour market require the ability to constantly update and learn specific high-profile skills throughout the whole life.<\/p>\n

Brain@Work counts with the participation of universities, research institutions and companies from 5 European countries<\/strong>, o develop innovative training contents based on real cases extract from researchers\u2019 and professionals\u2019 activities. The innovations promoted by the project connect IL with other Soft Skills needed in professional contexts, like problem solving, decision-making, teamwork, project management, of whom information competence could be considered a crucial component.<\/p>\n

Eurecat participates in the project through its Training Department<\/a> which is responsible of the technical implementations of training resources.<\/p>\n

The consortium of the project is formed by Eurecat technology centre (Spain), the library of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR)<\/a>, the Smart Skills Center<\/a> (Italy), the University of Liege (Belgium)<\/a>, the University of Minho (Portugal)<\/a> and the Rigas Stradina University (Latvia)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>
