Once cured the part, the solidified resin works as a mechanical interface between the fibers and the rest of the part.<\/p>\n<p>CFIP technology aims to <strong>enable the use of 3D printing in new applications<\/strong> where high mechanical and lightweghting performance is required. The good results achieved demonstrate the added value that this technology brings in different <strong>sectors such as aerospace, automotive, sporting goods or health<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This innovative technology, which has counted with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/product-innovation-multiphysics-simulation\/\">Product Development Unit<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/new-manufacturing-processes\/\">New Manufacturing Processes Unit<\/a>, allows to reinforce parts made with any type of material, including plastics (rigid or flexile), metals or ceramics.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it also enables to integrally join different parts by providing fiber continuity between them, achieving in this way ultra-high joining performance.
