to <strong>develop novel membranes<\/strong> (hollow fibre modules, new generation of flat sheet membranes, recycled modules) for broader configurations and to <strong>validate the prototypes<\/strong> in innovative water reuse applications, treatment of high salinity effluents and volume reduction towards zero liquid discharge (ZLD)<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/water-air-soil\/\">Unit of Water, Air and Soil (WAS) of Eurecat<\/a> participates in the project working in tasks dedicated to advanced membrane module manufacturing and validation for the treatment of high salinity effluents and zero liquid discharge.<\/p>\n<p>The project also counts with the participation of a consortium formed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iemm.univ-montp2.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institut Europ\u00e9en des Membranes (France<\/a>) and collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lequia.udg.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Laboratory of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (LEQUIA)<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icra.cat\/index.php?lang=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_3 1_3 fusion-one-third fusion-column-last\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;width:30.6666%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-three\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:0px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:20px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h3 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;\">General details<\/h3><span class=\"awb-title-spacer\"><\/span><div class=\"title-sep-container\"><div class=\"title-sep sep-double sep-solid\" style=\"border-color:#e0dede;\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p><strong>Project\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sub-FO &#8211;
