The innovation of the project manages to <strong>reduce the weight of the vehicle chassis up to 30% compared to more innovative solutions and up to 40% compared to some existing applications<\/strong>, taking into account aspects of <strong>eco-design and circular economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The results obtained during the project will be very useful to optimise the selection of new materials but will also allow reducing the implementation time of these solutions. More specifically, it is expected to <strong>reduce the development time of new lightweight components and increase the efficiency of the design stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fatigue4Light counts with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/materials-metallics-ceramics\/\">Metal and Ceramic Materials Unit of Eurecat<\/a> which is in charge of the development of new tests, with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/new-manufacturing-processes\/\">Advanced Manufacturing Systems Unit of Eurecat<\/a> which is in charge of the performance monitoring of the new chassis parts and with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/waste-energy-environmental-impact\/\">Waste, Energy and Environmental (WEEI) Unit of Eurecat<\/a> which is in charge of the application of circular economy and eco-design aspects.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium of the project is formed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ri.se\/en\/about-rise\/about-rise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Research and Innovation Centre of Sweden (RISE)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ltu.se\/?l=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lulea University of Technology<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upc.edu\/en?set_language=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Polytechnic
