Such knowledge is essential for maximizing benefits associated with using beneficial microbes in commercial agriculture and horticulture as well as when integrating their use with other agronomical practices.<\/p>\n<p>To improve formulation efficiency, BioHortiTech promotes an innovative approach based on <strong>biodegradable polymers or hybrid capsule shells derived from underutilized biomasses will be used to formulate microencapsulation of bioinocula and bioeffectors<\/strong> (substances promoting plant growth or resilience to biotic or abiotic stresses) contributing to plant protection or nutrition.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium of the BioHortiTech project, is led by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inhort.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Institute of Horticultural Research (INHORT)<\/a> from Poland and counts with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emr.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Horticultural Research at East Malling (NIAB-EMR)<\/a> from the United Kingdom, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mpip-mainz.mpg.de\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research<\/a> from Germany, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grab.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biological Agriculture Research Group<\/a> from France and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carinsa.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carinsa Group<\/a> (Spain).<\/p>\n<p>The project is funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suscrop.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ERA-NET Cofund activity SusCrop<\/a> (Sustainable Crop Production), under the Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI).<\/p>\n<\/div><div
