These are the most\u00a0notable\u00a0activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Organisation\u00a0of the\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forumturistic.com\/\"><strong>TurisTIC Forum<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this event, which already has eleven editions, companies from the tourism sector,\u00a0innovation\u00a0and technological development companies, as well as involved public institutions, associations, and specialised guilds will be invited. The main\u00a0objective\u00a0is to generate synergies, stimulate, and create new business opportunities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Creation of training itineraries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through the creation of training itineraries, the aim is to contribute to the increase of the competitiveness of the Catalan tourism sector, framed in a cooperation scenario, and\u00a0facilitate\u00a0the implementation of digital transformation, innovation, and sustainability in all areas and processes of tourism companies and entities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deployment and execution of the\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/portfolio-items\/tds-20-2024\/\"><strong>TDS<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0at the Catalan level.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The TDS project continues, through which the Tourism Data System digital platform has been developed, which collects, aggregates, and processes tourism occupancy data in Catalonia and makes it available to accommodations, business associations, and tourism management entities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deployment and execution of the TDS MICE.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Tourism Data System MICE (TDS MICE) is an online platform that allows periodic monitoring of the activity of the Congress, Meetings, Conventions, and Incentive Travel sector through an electronic web platform, where results are calculated, centralised, and presented. These results can be consulted by all parties through an attractive visual presentation environment that\u00a0facilitates\u00a0comparative reading and the ability to download reports.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Web hosting and online availability of self-diagnosis tools and the tourism repository.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The objectives of this task are, on the one hand, to ensure the web availability and functioning at all times of the three developed self-diagnosis tools: digital for tourism companies; sustainability and CSR; and wine tourism; and, on the other hand, to ensure the web availability and operability at all times of the web portal for consulting research documents in the Catalan tourism field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Support, evaluation, and justification of Tourist Destination Sustainability Plans.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eurecat, as a multidisciplinary technological\u00a0centre, provides broad and transversal\u00a0expertise, not only in tourism but also in technological innovation, sustainability management, and technical and economic project management. For these reasons, it supports the Directorate General of Tourism in reviewing proposals for the ordinary call for the 2024 Tourist Destination Sustainability Plans Program (PSDT), as well as in the monitoring and accompaniment during 2024 of the projects benefiting from the extraordinary calls of 2021, 2022, and 2023 (53 Plans in total).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Evaluation of the implementation and impact pathways of Tourist Destination Sustainability Plans. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eurecat aims to develop a methodology to identify the short- and medium-term outcomes arising from the implementation of all activities included in the Sustainability Plans, and to validate this methodology so that it can be used to monitor progress, trace impact pathways, and support their implementation. Furthermore, this approach enables the deployment of an impact management strategy throughout and beyond the implementation of each plan, integrating it into the procedures and organisational structures of the DGTUR.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Territorial analysis and implementation tools<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eurecat supports the DGTUR in the territorial analysis and diagnosis of tourism activity in Catalonia and defines a Geographic Information System (GIS)\u2014a digital tool for visualization and tourism intelligence based on territorial data\u2014to facilitate effective decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Eurecat leads the activities of the\u00a0<strong>DGTUR 2024<\/strong>\u00a0project through its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/services\/technology-consultancy\/\">Consultancy Department<\/a>, with the lines of Culture and Tourism, Markets and Innovation Systems, Innovation Management and Digital Transformation.
