Creation of a dynamic ecosystem in digital health in Bages<\/strong> that generates a new model of more efficient and quality health and social care in the region<\/strong>, and that, at the same time, is exportable to other territories in a shared agenda format.<\/p>\n

The Specialization and Territorial Competitiveness Project (PECT) BAGESS \u201cBig Data, Analytics, Management and Strategy in Health and Social\u201d<\/strong>, has the objective of improving the quality of life and the social inclusion of people with dependency and chronic diseases<\/strong>, converting them into active agents of their own health. Additionally, the project promotes an economic transformation of the region<\/strong>, focused on the digital transition of the health and social sector, both public and private, that makes it more competitive, sustainable, resilient and with a quality occupation.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the project, seven operations or lines of action will be promoted and focused on the creation of technological tools and new care models that benefit people with dependency and chronic diseases, their families and the health and social professionals who care for them, as well as the entire ecosystem that they generate to the environment.<\/p>\n

Eurecat, which participates in the project through the Digital Health Unit<\/a>, the Nutrition and Health Unit<\/a> and the Consultancy Unit<\/a>, is in charge of deploying and validating an integrated care model and solution, based on personalized medicine and precision<\/strong>, to improve ongoing care and quality of life of patients, especially older people with chronic conditions. Eurecat also develops technology and strategies for healthy habits and personalized nutrition<\/strong>, and implements technological surveillance tools for innovation applied to the ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The project is coordinated by the Manresa Council<\/a> and counts with the participation of Sant Andreu Salut<\/a>, Althaia<\/a>, the Institute for Primary Health Care Research Jordi Gol<\/a>, the University Foundation of Bages<\/a> and the Foundation AMPANS<\/a>. The consortium also counts with the collaboration of the Bages County Council<\/a>, the Uni\u00f3 Consorci Formaci\u00f3<\/a>, the Catalan Association of Associative Base Entities (ACEABA)<\/a> and the Foundation TIC Salut Social.<\/a><\/p>\n
