Integration of organic solar cells and flexible batteries for the generation of green energy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The GAIAPrint<\/strong> project aims to produce flexible organic photovoltaic modules (OPV) with state-of-the-art materials for the production of clean energy<\/strong>, as well as to complement its storage with low-cost printed batteries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this sense, the integration of these two emerging technologies in the field of printed electronics<\/strong> in ultra-low-power electronics systems is proposed in order to promote the generation of new, more autonomous and sustainable connected sensors.<\/p>\n

The development of ultra low consumption electronics will be carried out in a way that it is compatible with different sensors on the market, and with a wireless communication system applicable to various uses in the field of sensors and the Internet of Things (IoT).<\/p>\n

Eurecat participates in the project through its Functional Printing & Embedded Devices Unit<\/a>, which will lead the design and development of printed organic photovoltaic modules using last generation functional materials. The rest of the consortium is made up of the Functional Print Cluster<\/a>, the Stirling<\/a> R&D center and the Falcon Electronica<\/a> company.<\/p>\n<\/div>
