disruptive technologies in the water subsector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>IoT-IA CWP<\/strong> project aims to <strong>analyze how the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) can allow overcoming defined challenges in the water subsector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiary sector will be the <strong>Comprehensive Water Cycle Exploitation Services<\/strong>, which encompasses several points in the value chain and opens up the possibility of incorporating these technologies that will improve current decision-making and monitoring systems.<\/p>\n<p>Other goals of the project are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submit 2 R&amp;D projects<\/strong> in regional, national or European financing lines, based on the preliminary definition of 7 project proposals linked to disruptive technologies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Generate specific knowledge <\/strong>focused on specific problems in relation to the application of disruptive technologies in the water sector, which can serve as a reference for the entities associated with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwp.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Catalonian Water Partnership (CWP)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Facilitate the transfer of knowledge<\/strong> towards the representatives of the water sector (understood as consumers of the product or technologies) and the supply sectors, related to the two identified technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eurecat participates in the project through its <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/applied-artificial-intelligence\/\">Applied Artificial Intelligence Unit<\/a>, as experts in AI and IoT applied to the water sector, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/water-air-soil\/\">Water, Air and Soil Unit<\/a>, as experts in water and domain technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div><div
