Collaborative research to find solutions in the functionalisation of surfaces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The INFUNDA<\/strong> project is a collaborative research business initiative<\/strong> carried out by seven companies (KOSTAL<\/a>, WALTERPACK<\/a>, TOUS<\/a>, MAIER<\/a>, INECFI<\/a>, FLUBETECH<\/a> and GOIZPER<\/a>), two of which are SMEs (INECFI and FLUBETECH), which have come together to combine their knowledge and provide solutions in the functionalisation of surfaces, both in plastic and metal components.<\/strong><\/p>\n

INFUNDA is part of the latest generation of innovative enabling technologies<\/strong> that are at a basic level of maturity<\/strong>, identified by their high application potential<\/strong>, giving companies a differential position by giving way to new paradigms and multifunctionalities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The project combines surface energy modification technologies<\/strong>, which allow more efficient cutting surfaces, improvements in the release of plastic parts and parts with surfaces with new tribological properties, with decorative and protective coating technologies<\/strong>, which offer new aesthetic features.<\/p>\n

Eurecat participates in the project through its Metallic and Ceramic Materials Unit<\/a>, the Plastic Materials Unit<\/a> and the Consulting Department<\/a>, contributing its experience and technological means in the development and analysis of new functional surface finishes.<\/p>\n

In addition to Eurecat, the INFUNDA consortium is made up of four other organisations with extensive experience in innovative technologies in moulding, surfaces and electronics: TEKNIKER<\/a>, MAIER Technology Centre<\/a>, CIDETEC<\/a> and the Public University of Navarra<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>
