digestive tract and on which the viral load and antimicrobial activity will be evaluated to identify if the different treatments improve the humoral immunity of the bees.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A syrup based on honey and fungal extracts<\/strong> intended for human consumption with immunomodulatory properties for commercialisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On the other hand, the <strong>bioactive compounds of the fungi<\/strong> that may appear and that may be indicators of healthy properties are characterised and quantified in the honey.<\/p>\n<p>Eurecat participates in this project through two technological units:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/nutrition-health\/\">Nutrition and Health<\/a> unit is in charge of evaluating immunity, antimicrobial activity and viral load in bees, as well as developing the formula and validating the properties of the syrup.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/omic-sciences\/\">Omic Sciences<\/a> unit is responsible for the characterisation of fungal extracts and the bioactive compounds of fungi present in honeys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project is led by <a href=\"https:\/\/alemany.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Torrons i Mel Alemany<\/a>. Moreover, is participated by Claria Sat and coordinated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctfc.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forest Science and Technology Center of
