Development of a tourism intelligence system for the Barcelona province based in the compilation and treatment of data.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Tourism Data System (TDS)<\/strong>\u00a0project manages an interactive and easy-to-use digital platform capable of providing the public sector and private companies with a great volume of trustworthy data and, this way, allowing them to\u00a0grasp the current tourism conjunction, as well as its historical evolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With this information, the aim is to\u00a0facilitate the decision-making process and enhance the adaptation to current and future challenges<\/strong>\u00a0in a key sector of the Catalan economy.<\/p>\n

To accomplish this, the TDS harvests tourism information from different sources and analyses it and compiles it in order to generate\u00a0useful information<\/strong>. This information is made available to the multiple agents that collaborate with the project through an online digital platform where, among others, it is possible to do tailor-made queries and download reports of results.<\/p>\n

The TDS project relies on a team of experienced professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge, as well as with the collaboration of tourism management public institutions and private tourism businesses.<\/p>\n<\/div>
