Due to their slightly higher weight, these tanks are currently used in collective mobility vehicles, such as buses and trains.<\/p>\n<p>H3MOV focuses on all the necessary elements to develop a high-pressure tank for hydrogen storage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The analysis of materials and processes<\/strong> that enable the production of the inner liner at a high production cadence without compromising the requirements of such components (barrier effect and hydrogen compatibility).<\/li>\n<li><strong>The selection of manufacturing processes<\/strong> for the outer layer that allows cycle time reduction, enabling the production of tanks at a lower cost while ensuring that it withstands the stresses generated by the internal hydrogen pressure.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The study of coatings and\/or surface treatments<\/strong> to be applied to the inner metallic coating to achieve good adhesion to the outer coating and correct transmission of loads during the filling and pumping cycles of the tank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The H3MOV consortium is led by the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.denn.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Industrias Puigjaner (DENN)<\/a> and counts with the technical coordination from Eurecat through its <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/product-innovation-multiphysics-simulation\/\">Product Innovation and Multiphysics Simulation<\/a> Unit.
