In this sense, 2E4GREEN develops a solution based on additive microencapsulation and the selective release of these additives.<\/p>\n<p>2E4GREEN aims to extend the life of the lubricants and achieve better performance in service with a <strong>lower quantity of additives<\/strong>. The expected results of the project will allow the optimization of the use of lubricants in mechanical systems.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the project develops a microencapsulation system for the most frequent and necessary additives that can be found in this type of lubricant: friction modifiers, anti-wear and extreme pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to this, it is expected to control the release of additives if required by working conditions.
