operating costs in freight rail transport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hermes<\/strong> project, that has the purpose to improve rail transport for granular goods, promotes a new wagon concept that offers higher capacity than current ones and optimize loading and unloading processes in order to improve logistic operations and lower transport costs thanks to the greater operational flexibility involved.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Iberpotash-ICL Iberia, this project will last for 36 months with nine participating members from four European countries (France, Denmark, Sweden, and Spain).\u00a0<strong>Hermes\u00a0<\/strong>complies with the objectives of the European <strong>Shift<sup>2<\/sup>Rail <\/strong>programme focused on promoting rail transport in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-1 fusion_builder_column_1_3 1_3 fusion-one-third
