The \u201cFunctional textiles for improving the comfort of the interior of the vehicle\u201d – TexCONfiv<\/strong> project aims at developing new fabrics for the automobile interior with improved functional properties, such as light, acoustic, ergonomic and thermal comfort. TexCONfiv will use particular textile structures for the adaptation and disposal of materials, maintaining the low manufacturing costs demanded by the automotive sector.<\/p>\n

The consortium is comprised by the Technology Center of Grupo COPO<\/a> (CETEC), leader of the project, who, given its knowledge in the creation, development and production of innovative technical textiles, facilitates the research and development of the novel fabrics for its application in the interior of the automobile, and Eurecat, expert in R+D responsible for the design and development activities of the fabrics\u2019 acoustic and ergonomic comfort.<\/p>\n<\/div>
