Ageing population in advanced societies forces to increase efforts in order to support health and promote healthy habits among old people. The NESTORE<\/strong> project aims at combining different technologies to help old people to retain everyday life activities and keep in good health, physically and psychologically.<\/p>\n

During the project, which counts with the participation of the E-Health and Health & Nutrition Eurecat\u2019s Techonogical Units<\/a>, it will develop an innovative, multi-dimensional, personalized coaching system to support healthy ageing by generating and sustaining motivation to take care of health, suggesting healthy nutrition and personalized physical and mental coach and encouraging the users to interact socially to prevent decline and preserve wellbeing.<\/p>\n

NESTORE wants to be seen as a friend and coach able to support both the individual and the social dimension. The system includes, among others, wearable and environmental sensors, an intelligent Decision Support System, to analyse the seniors\u2019 behaviour and provide personalized targets toward wellbeing, and a conversational agent, able to establish affective communication through multimodal communication channels. All them will be able to understand the person\u2019s needs and provide hints and services according to the user\u2019s preferences ensuring that the overall wellbeing and health status is maximised.<\/p>\n<\/div>
