Self-diagnosis tool and protocols for obtaining knowledge, recommendations and support on how to achieve a fair gender inclusion in current and future transport systems.<\/p>\n

DIAMOND project promotes gender inclusion in transport systems through technologies for compiling and analysing data<\/strong>, such as machine learning, data mining and fair algorithms. The data will enable the identification and design of specific measures to fulfil women\u2019s needs and expectations from the perspective of women as transport users and professionals in the sector.<\/p>\n

DIAMOND, coordinated by Eurecat, analyses and compiles data with the aim to generate and spread recommendations, develop a self-diagnosis tool and protocols<\/strong> for create a fairer and inclusive transport systems with a gender view. Apart from the data analysis, DIAMOND will organize co-creation sessions for the transport community, public authorities, educative communities, citizens and other interested parts.<\/p>\n

The results of the project will be applied in the European public transport arena, autonomous vehicle, shared vehicles and in social corporative responsibility and employment aspects. In that field, the project will investigate the presence of women in transport and the new job opportunities offered.<\/p>\n

The project, apart from the Eurecat technology centre, also counts with the participation of 13 partners from S pain, France, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Serbia and Poland. The project consortium comprises universities\u00a0 and research centres as (University of Stirling<\/a>, the Edinburgh\u00a0 Napier University<\/a>, the \u00a0Technological University of Dublin (TUDublin)<\/a>,the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering of the University of Belgrade<\/a> and the IBV- Instituto de Biomec\u00e1nica de Valencia<\/a>); transport operators like Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya<\/a>, Warsaw Public Transport Authority <\/a>\u00a0and Autolib\u2019 V\u00e9lib\u2019<\/a>; associations such as Genre & Ville<\/a> and WAVE<\/a> and private companies and consultancies like \u00a0AITEC<\/a>, Systematica<\/a> and RINA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>
