These technologies include separation methods (via membranes, elements, adsorption), biological processes and other innovative technologies, such as advanced oxidation processes.<\/p>\n<p>EFLUCOMP solution reduces exploitation and operative costs, guaranteeing the efficiency in the reduction of contaminants and putting emphasis on the energy and reagents costs. It also facilitates the implementation of<strong> systems for the recovery of valuable products and for obtaining water with the required quality to be reused in the same facilities that generate residual effluents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project, coordinated by Eurecat through its <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/sustainability\/\">Sustainability Unit<\/a>, counts with the participation of the principal research centres of this sectors, like the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urv.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University Rovira i Virgili<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leitat.org\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leitat<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icra.cat\/index.php?lang=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA)<\/a>, and the companies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protecmed.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Protecmed<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aplicat.cat\/c\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aplicat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acciona-agua.com\/?language=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Acciona<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/deisa.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deisa<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aitasa.es\/cat\/index.html\"
