New deep energy renovation<\/strong> processes and methodologies to improve the energy<\/strong> performance and renovation of buildings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

StepUP<\/strong> project aims to develop cost-effective solutions and technologies to transform the deep renovation market and make buildings decarbonisation<\/strong> a reliable, attractive and sustainable investment. To achieve this, StepUP uses continuous feedback loops and promotes an iterative deep energy renovation approach<\/strong>, based on Big Data<\/strong>, which minimises performance problems, reduce financial barriers and optimises investments.<\/p>\n

The solution developed by StepUP will target three different types of structures: multi-family residential dwellings, public non-residential buildings and rental private office buildings. Besides, the project will promote new financial models to optimize energy, comfort and cost performance over the building life.<\/p>\n

StepUP is addressed to achieve the challenge of the decarbonisation process in the European buildings stock by 2050. A goal that, according to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive<\/strong> (EPBD), will be effective if the market achieves a deep renovation energy, a key action to reduce drastically buildings\u2019 energy demand.<\/p>\n

The project, that counts with the participation of Eurecat\u2019s Product Development Unit<\/a> and Sustainability Unit<\/a>, is formed by a consortium of 9 European partners.<\/p>\n<\/div>
