New microcapsules with antimicrobial and disinfectant effects<\/strong> for the sanitation of high-concurrency spaces.<\/p>\n

The Microesenci<\/strong> project investigates, develops and validates new microcapsules, which contain essential oils, with the objective to reduce the risks of infection in different risk situations and exposure spaces for vulnerable people, such as hospitals, elderly\u2019s centres or collective transports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the polymers used in the microcapsules developed within the project are biodegradable and comply with the environmental policies of the European Union and the United States governments.<\/p>\n

Microencapsulation is a technology that allows applying active ingredients to different types of materials, providing specific functionalities, such as the progressive and efficient release of highly volatile molecules that guarantee their functionality over time.<\/p>\n

Microesenci is a project of Carinsa Group<\/a> and Eurecat<\/strong>, which participates conducting efficacy and characterization tests of the active principles.<\/p>\n<\/div>
