Moreover, <strong>Zero Liquid Discharge and Zero Waste technical solutions<\/strong> are optimized and demonstrated combined with the water treatment system. In this way, all residues will be recycled into secondary raw materials which will be mainly used in the construction sector.<\/p>\n<p>Within the frame of the project, a Decision-Making Tool is developed for the design and selection of the most optimal alternative water management solutions for the exploitation of alternative sources, balancing cost and treatment efficiency and social and environmental impacts.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/field-of-knowledge\/sustainability\/\">Eurecat\u2019s Sustainability Unit<\/a> participates in the optimization of the prototype and the Zero Liquid Discharge and Zero Waste system, in the development of the pilot and the Decision-Making tool and in the monitoring of the environmental impact of the prototype.<\/p>\n<p>The project also counts with the participation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zag.si\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/geologija.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geologija d.o.o Idrija<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hidria.com\/int\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HIDRIA<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ijs.si\/ijsw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jozef Stefan Institute (JSI)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hidroquimia.es\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HIDROQUIMIA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div
