The main aim of ToughSteel is the dissemination and valorisation of fracture toughness as a material property to rationalise crack-related problems in Advanced High Strength Steels.<\/p>\n<p>In this industrial workshop, we aim to present the expected outcomes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/portfolio-items\/toughsteel\/\">ToughSteel project<\/a> for the steel industry and delve into the latest research approaches in the characterization and modelling of advanced mechanical properties such as fracture resistance and crashworthiness in high-performance metals.
