Battech: research, development and innovation across the entire value chain of the next generation of electric cells and batteries<\/h2>\n<\/div>

The Catalonia Energy Research Institute (IREC<\/a><\/strong>) and the\u00a0Eurecat<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0have set up Battech<\/strong>, a flagship centre designed to cover the whole of Southern Europe\u2019s\u00a0battery<\/strong>\u00a0ecosystem R&D&I. It will encompass research, development and innovation across the entire value chain of the next generation of electric cells and batteries for the\u00a0electric mobility<\/strong>,\u00a0renewable energy<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0capital goods markets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To do this, Battech is to set up a joint research, development, testing and innovation unit<\/strong> specialising in batteries to enhance knowledge transfer to industry in this field anchored in the circular economy and the sustainability of the batteries of the future.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
