In other words, \u2018thanks to the lightness of the composites and the printed electronics, it\u2019s possible to significantly reduce the weight of components and large structures, as well as to reduce costs in assembly processes with the introduction of sensors during the manufacture of the composite\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The various processes \u2018are carried out at the Eurecat facilities, at the plastronics pilot plant and in the technology centre\u2019s Composite Materials Unit laboratories\u2019, adds Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R&amp;D in composites for sustainability and weight reduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the fair, Eurecat is also exhibiting the latest developments in composites in the field of sustainability and the circular economy, weight reduction and Industry 4.0, for industries such as aerospace, automotive, construction and sport, among others.<\/p>\n<p>They are also highlighting innovations where new composites have been developed from recycled carbon fibre and other types of composite
