They are a plastic injection mould where surface finish is crucial to ensure the mould\u2019s performance and the quality of the injected parts, and a structural component for aerospace applications which calls for fatigue resistance. Demonstrators of both case studies will be produced in the project and used for model validation and comparison with conventional steel parts.<\/p>\n<p>The project consortium is <strong>coordinated by Eurecat<\/strong> and its other partners are <a href=\"https:\/\/france.arcelormittal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ArcelorMittal<\/a>, a steel producer, <a href=\"https:\/\/gsc-aero.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grupo Sevilla Control<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/drtrapid.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DRT Rapid<\/a>, machining businesses, and three research institutes in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimne.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idonial.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IDONIAL Foundation <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ltu.se\/?l=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lule\u00e5 University of Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":30,"featured_media":140553,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2670],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-140750","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-supream-project-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
