As additive manufacturing in metals continues to attract growing industrial attention, the challenge of enhancing surface quality remains crucial. This presentation showcased how PFEM can be applied to improve the surface finish of parts produced through additive manufacturing, while also achieving tighter tolerances.<\/p>\n<p>The Solid Mechanics (SolMech) Conferences are a biennial international series, organized by the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ippt.pan.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IPPT PAN<\/a>).
