The event has been organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sensofar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SENSOFAR<\/strong><\/a> in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/home\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Eurecat<\/strong><\/a> on 27<sup>th<\/sup> of November in Manresa, Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation included the results of Eurecat\u2019s research work within <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/portfolio-items\/supream\/\"><strong>SuPreAM<\/strong> <\/a>for the development and improvement of the performance and capabilities of a <strong>predictive simulation model of finishing operations in steel Additive Manufacturing (AM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project focuses on the optimisation of the <strong>surface integrity<\/strong>\u00a0of Additive Manufactured and Machined steel components and the <strong>reduction of manufacturing expenditures<\/strong>\u00a0at the steel industrial sector by\u00a0<strong>minimising<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>the material scrap<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>reducing the number of re-processing loops\u00a0<\/strong>during finishing operations.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop, which counted on the participation of Montse Vilaseca, SuPreAM project\u2019s coordinator and Director of Metallic and Ceramic Materials Unit of Eurecat, showcased real success stories, innovative integrations, and practical solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and surface quality control.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":30,"featured_media":164786,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2440,2670],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-164789","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-projects","category-supream-project-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
