Since 2019, it has been collaborating with Eurecat as its technology partner.<\/h4>\n<\/div>

Eurecat and Sant V\u00edctor Care Home have developed Sit2Stand, a device that detects the risk of falls in older people when standing up.<\/p>\n

Using sensors and algorithms, Sit2Stand analyses movement patterns and identifies risk situations. The device features an integrated alert system via a mobile application, notifying care home staff when a user at risk of falling attempts to stand up from a chair or without supervision.<\/p>\n

This solution offers an alternative to traditional techniques used for people with cognitive impairments and reduced mobility, such as physical and pharmacological restraints, thereby improving the freedom and quality of life of older people.<\/p>\n<\/div>
