It consists of a single monolithic part combining electronics and plastic materials and integrating smart lighting, capacitive sensors, a display, a haptic system and all the microelectronics.<\/p>\n<p>Plastronics is an emerging technology that brings intelligence to structural plastic components and, thanks to its capabilities, has the potential to transform a wide range of sectors. One of the fields where this technology is already becoming established is the automotive sector, where it is applied to components that enhance user interaction while preserving design and comfort within vehicle interiors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pioneering graphene\u2011based solutions to address environmental challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the field of sensors, Eurecat is participating in the GIANCE project, which is establishing a holistic, integrative and industry\u2011driven platform focused on improving sustainable materials and their real\u2011world applications.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, GIANCE designs, develops and scales the next generation of composites, coatings, foams and multifunctional membranes based on graphene and graphene\u2011related materials (GRMs).
