It will be presented at S\u00f3nar+D, running from today to Friday 16 June.<\/p>\n<p>The new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfear.com\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Sf\u00ebar<\/strong><\/span><\/a> technology was developed over the last year and will soon be launched onto the market, in order to \u201cprovide the music industry with immersive 3D sound tools for the production, postproduction and reproduction of music with headphones\u201d, explained Adan Garriga, the director of Audiovisual Technologies at Eurecat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt S\u00f3nar+D we will be presenting musical production tools with the immersive 3D sound we have developed over the last year, with the added value that they are totally interactive\u201d, so that \u201cartists and producers can see how they work\u201d, said Garriga.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfear.com\">Sf\u00ebar<\/a><\/span><\/strong> provides music production tools that make production with headphones and headtracking possible, in such a way that \u201cthe sound reacts to the movements of the head of the person listening to it\u201d, added the researcher, underlining the potential of the technology to create songs and music sessions live in three dimensions, and to produce and distribute music and audio content in mobile devices through headphones.<\/p>\n<p>Sf\u00ebar tools, he pointed out, \u201care compatible with most software used by the ideas people\u201d, in such a way that \u201cartists can now make 3D music without having to change their work system\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Garriga said that \u201c3D sound will be the new standard in the field of audio, just as stereo was when it came in back in the 50s and the 5.1 system in the 80s\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00d3NAR+D Researchers create Sf\u00ebar, an interactive 3D sound technology Sf\u00ebar technology to be launched soon.
