The project\u2019s aim is to gain an insight into consumers and their perception of multisensory stimuli, with a view to developing innovative food products that are tailored to consumers\u2019 needs and preferences.<\/p>\n<p>The project, which has been approved by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), will be implemented by a consortium that is led by Angulas Aguinaga and whose members include the companies Aves Nobles y Derivados (Aldel\u00eds), the Carinsa Group, Codorn\u00edu, Cerealto Siro Foods, Loop New Business Models and Seidor. The AINIA, IATA-CSIC and Itainnova technology centres also form part of the consortium, as do Valencia Polytechnical University and Eurecat, which is responsible for the project\u2019s technical coordination.<\/p>\n<p>In the words of Ignasi Papell, the Head of Eurecat\u2019s Food Industry Business Unit, \u201cCONOCE represents a <strong>radical conceptual change<\/strong>, as it places the consumer at the centre of each of the different stages in the food product development process: from the conceptualization of food solutions through to product development and points of sale\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Eurecat technology centre (a member of Tecnio) is taking part in the CONOCE project, which is focused on the application of disruptive technologies in the field of neuroscience.
