At this year\u2019s edition of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Eurecat<\/a> technology centre (a member of Tecnio) will present a selection of audiobooks<\/strong> and podcasts<\/strong> recorded in the binaural audio<\/strong> format. The recordings were made using new proprietary technology that allows listeners to enjoy an immersive 3D audio<\/strong> experience through headphones and replicates the way in which we perceive the sound produced by our environment.<\/p>\n

The audiobook samples Eurecat will present at the fair, which will take place from 16 to 20 October, are the result of the technology centre\u2019s research into the production, post-production and distribution of binaural audio content. The aim is to provide sound designers, producers and authors with the tools to create three-dimensional audio content: not only for the publishing industry, but also for the music and audiovisual industries.<\/p>\n
