El proyecto utilizar\u00e1 un nuevo sensor de gas de estado s\u00f3lido para medir cuantitativamente <em>in situ<\/em> el hidr\u00f3geno absorbido durante la producci\u00f3n del acero y durante la vida en servicio. Por otra parte, el proyecto CRYSTAL tambi\u00e9n definir\u00e1 y determinar\u00e1 cual es la mejor metodolog\u00eda para <strong>evaluar la fragilizaci\u00f3n por hidrogeno durante la producci\u00f3n del acero y la vida \u00fatil de los componentes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Para determinar cu\u00e1l es el ensayo que permite analizar mejor el efecto del hidrogeno en los aceros de alta resistencia, se realizar\u00e1n <strong>ensayos en el laboratorio, ensayos de simulaci\u00f3n de vida \u00fatil y ensayos en planta real.<\/strong> Adem\u00e1s, se desarrollar\u00e1 un nuevo ensayo basado en la mec\u00e1nica de la fractura para calcular de manera r\u00e1pida y eficaz la dependencia de la resistencia a la generaci\u00f3n y propagaci\u00f3n de grietas con el contenido de hidrogeno absorbido por el acero.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo principal del proyecto es desarrollar nuevas herramientas experimentales y metodolog\u00edas que permitan predecir la vida \u00fatil de piezas de autom\u00f3vil fabricadas con aceros de alta resistencia ante el fen\u00f3meno de fragilizaci\u00f3n por hidrogeno. Tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00e1 determinar cu\u00e1l es el contenido de hidrogeno que afecta directamente a las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas del acero, con la finalidad de dise\u00f1ar nuevos aceros y recubrimientos menos susceptibles a la fragilizaci\u00f3n por hidrogeno, para poder fabricar componentes de autom\u00f3vil m\u00e1s seguros.<\/p>\n<p>El consorcio del proyecto, que cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de la <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/materiales-metalicos-ceramicos\/\">Unidad de Materiales Met\u00e1licos y Cer\u00e1micos de Eurecat<\/a>, est\u00e1 formado por el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crf.it\/EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centro Ricerche Fiat<\/a> (CRF) de Italia, el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crmgroup.be\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centre de Recherches Metallurgiques (CRM<\/a>) de Francia, <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.arcelormittal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ArcelorMittal<\/a> de Francia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voestalpine.com\/group\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VoestAlpine<\/a> de Austria y \u00a0<a
