De este modo, se consiguen evitar los da\u00f1os y peligros que los alcantarillados pueden suponer para su salud.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, las inspecciones de alcantarillado son una tarea complicada, costosa y peligrosa. Las brigadas de inspecci\u00f3n deben trabajar en la oscuridad y con una humedad elevada para examinar rigurosamente la red de alcantarillado, que presenta t\u00faneles con techos bajos que a menudo causan lesiones relacionadas con la postura y que pueden albergar gases t\u00f3xicos o explosivos.<\/p>\n<p>Para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo de los inspectores del alcantarillado, evitar lesiones relacionadas con el trabajo o problemas de salud y aumentar la eficiencia y la precisi\u00f3n de estas inspecciones, ECHORD ++ (European Coordination Hub for Open Robotics Development), en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bpropuso desarrollar un sistema robotizado que permitiera a las brigadas de inspecci\u00f3n realizar inspecciones de la red de alcantarillado de una manera m\u00e1s segura y eficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Los MAV tienen muchas ventajas: son ligeros y compactos; f\u00e1ciles de transportar y desplegar sin necesidad de ning\u00fan equipo extra; y pueden navegar r\u00e1pidamente en t\u00faneles de cloacas, independientemente de las obstrucciones o los obst\u00e1culos en el terreno. Crucialmente, un MAV permite que las brigadas realicen inspecciones de manera eficiente desde la superficie, fuera del peligro de las alcantarillas para la salud.<\/p>\n<p>Con sus h\u00e9lices superpuestas, el innovador dise\u00f1o ofrece una soluci\u00f3n que permite volar durante m\u00e1s de 15 minutos en todos los t\u00faneles, de al menos, 80 cm de ancho, y llevar adherido hasta 1 Kg de carga \u00fatil. Una vez trasladado el MAV hasta el punto de acceso y bajado a la alcantarilla, ARSI ejecuta el recorrido determinado previamente hasta el punto de destino, navegando con seguridad y evitando obst\u00e1culos inesperados.<\/p>\n<p>Durante cada vuelo, varios sensores integrados en el MAV recopilan datos de imagen y v\u00eddeo de alta resoluci\u00f3n, a la vez que proporcionan v\u00eddeo en directo de la alcantarilla a los operadores en la superficie. Toda la informaci\u00f3n recogida a bordo del MAV se procesa despu\u00e9s con la suite del software ARSI para generar modelos en 3D de alta resoluci\u00f3n de los t\u00faneles de alcantarillado con el fin de determinar si las secciones inspeccionadas son operativas y marcar autom\u00e1ticamente posibles obstrucciones o defectos estructurales. La interfaz de usuario es muy intuitiva y permite a los profesionales de inspecci\u00f3n revisar de manera eficiente toda la informaci\u00f3n y generar informes precisos sobre el estado de la red.
