Sin embargo, durante la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, solo se han aprobado para su uso cuatro medicamentos contra las enfermedades cardiovasculares. En este sentido, el EMAPS-Cardio tiene el objetivo principal de lograr modelos card\u00edacos cl\u00ednicamente relevantes para el cribado de f\u00e1rmacos cardiovasculares en etapa temprana a trav\u00e9s de:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Desarrollo de dispositivos que puedan utilizarse para el crecimiento de tejidos sanos o enfermos que requieran estimulaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica y\/o mec\u00e1nica para permitir modelos organot\u00edpicos de coraz\u00f3n, pulm\u00f3n, m\u00fasculo, piel, etc. m\u00e1s relevantes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitar el <strong>desarrollo de f\u00e1rmacos m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido mediante la entrega de modelos card\u00edacos sanos y patol\u00f3gicos <\/strong>precisos con una madurez tisular similar a la de un adulto.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eliminar la necesidad de realizar pruebas en animales y reducir los costos de desarrollo de f\u00e1rmacos <\/strong>al permitir el cribado de la eficacia del f\u00e1rmaco en una etapa temprana con c\u00e9lulas humanas vivas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eurecat participa en el proyecto a trav\u00e9s de su <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/digital-health\/\">Unidad de Digital Health<\/a> y la Unidad de <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/ciencias-omicas\/\">Ciencias \u00d3micas<\/a>. EMAPS-Cardio est\u00e1 coordinado por el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/en\/cnrs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centro Nacional Franc\u00e9s de Investigaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica (CNRS)<\/a> y cuenta con un consorcio formado por <strong>22 socios de 10 pa\u00edses europeos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column
