Sin embargo, ambos aspectos se contrarrestan porque, por un lado, necesitamos estructuras m\u00e1s pesadas para mejorar la protecci\u00f3n de los pasajeros, pero, por otro lado, los veh\u00edculos m\u00e1s pesados tambi\u00e9n suelen producir choques m\u00e1s severos e impactantes.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido<strong>, el proyecto Flexcrash tiene la ambici\u00f3n de romper este c\u00edrculo vicioso relacionado con el peso y la resistencia al choque, produciendo estructuras m\u00e1s seguras, ligeras y circulares con el objetivo de reducir el peso del veh\u00edculo y aumentar la seguridad de los pasajeros.<\/strong> Adem\u00e1s, las soluciones del proyecto permiten contribuir a un uso m\u00e1s eficiente de los recursos (materias primas y energ\u00eda), as\u00ed como a optimizar las cadenas de suministro de materiales, lo que finalmente se traduce en un importante ahorro de costes.<\/p>\n<p>Los principales pilares del proyecto son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tecnolog\u00edas de fabricaci\u00f3n h\u00edbridas y flexibles<\/li>\n<li>Nuevas estructuras tolerantes a choques<\/li>\n<li>Pruebas avanzadas de choque, tenacidad, fractura y fatiga<\/li>\n<li>Simulaci\u00f3n de choques: desde modelos de materiales avanzados hasta pruebas virtuales<\/li>\n<li>Identificaci\u00f3n de necesidades de seguridad para la movilidad actual y futura<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El consorcio del proyecto, coordinado por Eurecat a trav\u00e9s de su <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/materiales-metalicos-ceramicos\/\">Unidad de Materiales Met\u00e1licos y Cer\u00e1micos<\/a>, est\u00e1
