El proyecto tiene como objetivo hacer m\u00e1s eficiente la fabricaci\u00f3n de piezas estructurales, reduciendo el tiempo de ciclo y el impacto ambiental.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">El proyecto <strong>se enfoca en el GigaCasting, una t\u00e9cnica que permite fabricar secciones del chasis de un veh\u00edculo en una sola pieza grande de aluminio<\/strong>. Este m\u00e9todo sustituye al montaje tradicional de piezas de chapa estampada que se ten\u00edan que unir individualmente, lo que reduce el peso del veh\u00edculo, ahorra materias primas y simplifica la cadena de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Para mejorar este proceso, IMAGiC utiliza la impresi\u00f3n 3D met\u00e1lica para crear los moldes de fundici\u00f3n. Esta tecnolog\u00eda permite integrar canales de refrigeraci\u00f3n internos de formas complejas que optimizan la extracci\u00f3n de calor. Gracias a este mejor control t\u00e9rmico, <strong>se consigue acortar el tiempo de fabricaci\u00f3n de cada pieza hasta un 40%, lo que mejora la productividad y la calidad del producto final.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Otro eje clave es la sostenibilidad y la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica. El proyecto desarrolla <strong>un demostrador de horno para tratamientos t\u00e9rmicos que funciona con 100% hidr\u00f3geno.<\/strong> Esta innovaci\u00f3n, por un lado, elimina las emisiones de CO2 derivadas del gas natural que se utiliza habitualmente para calentar los hornos y dar las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas necesarias a estas matrices gigantes.
