Esto complica la aplicaci\u00f3n de estos materiales en el sector industrial ya que el corte no optimizado puede perjudicar notablemente el rendimiento de la pieza. Por lo tanto, es necesario realizar una investigaci\u00f3n detallada sobre la calidad del borde de corte que determina la fatiga y la resistencia a la fractura, con el objetivo de conseguir la implementaci\u00f3n industrial de los aceros de manganeso de alto rendimiento (HMnS) en partes estructurales de veh\u00edculos.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto <strong>iCUT<\/strong> tiene el objetivo de describir la relaci\u00f3n entre las caracter\u00edsticas del borde de corte y la fatiga, la fragilidad en H y la formabilidad de los aceros de alto manganeso y a su vez, proporcionar informaci\u00f3n para superar los efectos perjudiciales de las imperfecciones introducidas en el borde durante los procesos de corte. Durante el proyecto, se determinar\u00e1n los par\u00e1metros y la tecnolog\u00eda de corte que permiten producir chapas de acero de alto manganeso (HMns) de alto rendimiento.<\/p>\n<p>La caracterizaci\u00f3n de estos materiales se realiza para diferentes tecnolog\u00edas de corte, como la supresi\u00f3n; la erosi\u00f3n por chispa y el corte por l\u00e1ser, teniendo en cuenta la influencia de los par\u00e1metros de corte. El proyecto se centra especialmente en la supresi\u00f3n, ya que es la tecnolog\u00eda de corte de l\u00e1minas m\u00e1s extendida.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el proyecto iCUT incluye una <strong>evaluaci\u00f3n del impacto medioambiental<\/strong> que causan las diversas tecnolog\u00edas, a trav\u00e9s de una metodolog\u00eda de evaluaci\u00f3n del ciclo de vida.<\/p>\n<p>El consorcio del proyecto, coordinado por Eurecat, cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rwth-aachen.de\/cms\/~a\/root\/?lidx=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Universidad Aachen RWTH<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzgitter-mannesmann-forschung.de\/de\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung GmbH (SZMF)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/rovalma.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rovalma <\/a>y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crf.it\/IT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centro Ricerche Fiat
