Estos materiales est\u00e1n muy presentes en residuos el\u00e9ctricos y electr\u00f3nicos, residuos de miner\u00eda, imanes y bater\u00edas de ion litio, y uno de los puntos estrat\u00e9gicos de la unidad es encontrar nuevas opciones para valorizarlos.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YNtBCUGXToY?si=Gt9_cHgfXnUrsfl3\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Con este objetivo, la Unidad ha testado y desarrollado <strong>nuevos procesos de hidrometalurgia sostenible<\/strong>, basados \u200b\u200ben el uso de reactivos y procesos de menor impacto ambiental y con un mejor retorno econ\u00f3mico.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa hidrometalurgia sostenible permite cumplir con los objetivos que marcan las nuevas legislaciones europeas y al mismo tiempo dise\u00f1ar procesos econ\u00f3micos que no dependen de la industria de escala para ser rentables para la empresa\u00bb, afirma Mart\u00ednez.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a estrategias de hidrometalurgia sostenible, Eurecat cumple con los objetivos marcados por la UE para bater\u00edas de ion de litio, recuperando el 98% del litio, el 93% del manganeso, 95% del n\u00edquel y el 91% del cobalto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDesde WEEI apostamos en el uso de la hidrometalurgia sostenible como modelo a aplicar a todo tipo de residuos de forma que se pueda reducir el impacto ambiental y econ\u00f3mico del proceso.
