Project partners have met in Manresa (Spain) on July 10<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202f2024, aiming to\u202f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">prevent the risk of cracking and delayed fracture of 3rd generation advanced high strength steels (AHSS) to ensure their safe implementation in the automotive sector<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">During the meeting, which was assisted by a representative of the RFCS project officer, all partners presented their entity and an outline of the tasks to be carried out during the project.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u202f<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/portfolio-items\/h2form3g\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">H2FORM3G project\u202f<\/span><\/a> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">aims to understand how hydrogen affects the <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">formability<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> of<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202fadvanced high-strength steels (AHSS)<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202fto fully exploit their great potential for\u202f<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">future lightweight vehicle designs<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. The project's main goal is to develop tools to prevent cracking during the manufacturing process and reduce the risk of delayed fractures. The project will provide\u202f<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">novel characterization methodologies and predictive models<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202fthat will contribute to accelerating the design and optimization of lightweight steel components, reducing vehicle weight by 10-20% and improving crash safety.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The project, coordinated by\u202f<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurecat.org\/en\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Eurecat Technology Centre of Catalonia<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, is participated by eleven entities, including technology centers, universities and research institutes, metal sector producers and suppliers, automotive companies, and a metal studies spin-off company:\u202fsynchrotron Alba-Cells, Ecole Nationale Superieure de Techniques Avancees Bretagne, Arcelormittal Maizieres Research, Voestalpine Stahl, Centro Richerche Fiat, MA SRL, Letomec, Universit\u00e9 de Bretagne Sud, Universit\u00e1 di Pisa and the Institut de la Corrosion Sasu.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":44,"featured_media":160578,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2844,2439],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-160573","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-h2form3g-es","category-proyectos"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
