During the meeting, held on April 10, 2024, partners provided an overview of the recent activities, such as the results of the first estimations on the amount of CO<sub>2<\/sub> that could be reduced with the project\u2019s steel sustainable processing methodologies.<\/p>\n<p>Partners review all the work done in the different work packages and planned the activities for the next six months of the project, including dilatometry and mechanical testing, the analysis of the data available for establishing modelling approaches or the planning of characterization analysis. The meeting also included a tour around the hot stamping line and the delayed fracture lab in ArcelorMittal facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/coophs-sustainable-steel-decarbonisation-automotive-industry\/\">COOPHS project<\/a> works to improve the production of low CO2 steel for the automotive sector, through the development of more sustainable processing methodologies that will contribute to its decarbonization.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium, coordinated by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\">Eurecat<\/a>\u00a0technology centre, is participated by seven entities, including actors from the steel industry, the automotive safety sector as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/france.arcelormittal.com\/\">ArcelorMittal<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gestamp.com\/About-Us\/Gestamp-in-the-world\/Centers\/Europe\/Sweden\/Gestamp-HardTech\">Gestamp HardTech AB<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.letomec.com\/\">Letomec<\/a>; and research organizations as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-amu.fr\/\">Aix-Marseille University<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/en\">French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.albasynchrotron.es\/\">ALBA Synchrotron (ALBA-CELLS).<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":18,"featured_media":160847,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2644],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-160850","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-coophs-project-es"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
