the <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/portfolio-items\/steel4fatigue\/\"><strong>Steel4Fatigue project<\/strong><\/a> was featured in the webinar <strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatsam.eu\/upcomings\/upcoming-webinar-advancing-am-fatigue-and-microstructure-insights_59\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Advancing AM: Fatigue and Microstructure insights<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, organised in collaboration with the European projects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fatsam.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>FatSAM<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/alabama-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ALABAMA<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The webinar brought together experts from research and industry to discuss the latest developments in additive manufacturing, fatigue behaviour, and microstructure optimisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sergi Parareda<\/strong>, project coordinator and researcher at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/materiales-metalicos-ceramicos\/\"><strong>Metallic and Ceramic Materials unit of Eurecat<\/strong><\/a>, delivered the presentation titled <strong><em>\u201cCharacterisation methods to shorten fatigue testing and improve materials understanding\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, showcasing the main achievements of <strong>Steel4Fatigue project<\/strong>, presenting innovative methodologies designed to accelerate fatigue testing and deepen the understanding of material behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>The event also featured presentations from representatives of <a href=\"https:\/\/tubitak.gov.tr\/tr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>T\u00dcB\u0130TAK<\/strong><\/a>, introducing the FatSAM project, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sintef.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SINTEF<\/strong><\/a>, presenting the ALABAMA project, as well as a contribution from Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/cemal-basaran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Cemal Basaran<\/strong><\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalo.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University at Buffalo<\/strong><\/a> as a key invited speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Steel4Fatigue, coordinated by <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/home\/en\/\"><strong>Eurecat<\/strong><\/a> and funded by the <strong>Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS)<\/strong>, aims to develop fatigue-optimised solutions for dynamic automotive components by introducing new materials and technologies that contribute to reducing the weight of trucks and
