The meeting, held in a hybrid format, focused on transitioning the project\u2019s latest metallurgical breakthroughs into industrial applications.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">Coordinated by <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/es\/ambitos-de-conocimiento\/materiales-metalicos-ceramicos\/\">Eurecat\u2019s Metallic and Ceramic Materials Unit<\/a>, the project is dedicated to developing high-performance steels and gradient microstructures through advanced Additive Manufacturing (AM). During the meeting, partners evaluated progress in optimized AM parameters and the production of specialized specimens for tribo-mechanical and corrosion testing.<\/p>\n<p>A key highlight was the definition of the upcoming hot stamping pilot, which will be carried out at INNOMAQ 21 facilities in Terrassa to validate these materials in an industrial environment. This phase will evaluate production scalability and define the plan for printing, machining, assembling, and validating the final demonstrators.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-18\">\n<p>The NewAIMS project is led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurecat.org\/en\">Eurecat Technology Centre of Catalonia<\/a>\u00a0and brings together a multidisciplinary consortium including <a href=\"https:\/\/cenim.csic.es\/\">CENIM-CSIC<\/a>, <a class=\"qmOviVSKHdfjPoPzjCEZADbmmGVgWsdloE \" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazemet.com\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">AMAZEMET<\/a>, <a class=\"qmOviVSKHdfjPoPzjCEZADbmmGVgWsdloE \" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miun.se\/en\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">Mid Sweden University<\/a> and <a class=\"qmOviVSKHdfjPoPzjCEZADbmmGVgWsdloE \" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/innomaq21.com\/\" target=\"_self\" data-test-app-aware-link=\"\">INNOMAQ 21<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":48,"featured_media":194188,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2734],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-194243","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-newaims-es"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
