The NewAIMS was represented at the VI EIDUNED Scientific Conference, held on November 14 in Madrid as part of the XXV Science Week. The event, organized by the International Doctoral School of UNED, focused on the multidisciplinary challenges and advances in modern science and innovation.

Prof. Francisca García Caballero (CENIM-CSIC), a member of the NewAIMS consortium, delivered a keynote presentation titled «Additive Manufacturing and Multidisciplinarity: An Approach for Innovation.» The session highlighted how cross-disciplinary strategies are being applied within the project to drive progress in advanced manufacturing.

The conference provided a platform to discuss the project’s progress in the context of emerging trends, such as the impact of AI in research and the importance of gender perspective and accessibility in science. By engaging with doctoral researchers and the academic community, NewAIMS continues to foster the transfer of knowledge and inspire future joint initiatives in advanced metallurgy.
