The NewAIMS project was presented during EUROMAT 2025, the 18th European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes, held from 14–18 September in Granada, Spain.

The project was featured in the session titled “Investigation in Novel Processing Technologies for Special Steels – RFCS NanoWinTur and NewAIMS Projects,” where consortium partners showcased the latest advancements, preliminary results, and technological potential of both RFCS projects.

Eurecat, acting as project coordinator, together with CENIM-CSIC, Mid Sweden University, and AMAZEMET, took part in the session, providing insights into the progress achieved so far and the expected impact of NewAIMS on future special steel processing routes.

Overall, EUROMAT 2025 proved to be an excellent platform for disseminating project developments, reinforcing collaboration among partners, and engaging with the wider materials research community. The dedicated RFCS session highlighted the importance and potential of both NewAIMS and NanoWinTur in driving innovation in advanced steel technologies.
