The Safe&Clean project was showcased at the 7th European Steel Technology and Application Days (ESTAD) Conference, held from 6th to 9th October in Verona, Italy.
Stefano Bucci, project partner from Centro Ricerche Fiat, presented the poster titled “Decarbonization of Steel: Challenges and Opportunities for Modern Steelmakers and Carmakers”, which illustrates the overarching concept and goals of the Safe&Clean project.
Coordinated by Eurecat Technology Centre and funded under the RFCS European programme, Safe&Clean aims to prove that low-CO2 steels with high recycled content can safely meet the demanding requirements of modern automotive safety components.
