The Eurecat technology centre has won the Iberquimia Award in the Innovation category for its work in R&D applied to industry at a ceremony held at the Barcelona edition of the congress.

Ricard Garcia Valls, director of Eurecat’s Chemical Technology unit, picked up the award. He said that this acknowledgement “draws attention to Eurecat’s efforts to help businesses examine their problems, challenges and projects and provide them with technology innovation solutions”.

The awards, organised by the Infoedita publishing group and sponsored by Expoquimia, were presented by Albert Riera, Sales Director Life Sciences & Chemistry BU at Fira de Barcelona. Multinational BASF earned the Iberquimia Award in the Sustainability category and engineering firm E. Bachiller the Business Achievement Award.
